Goatlandia has been generous to the ‘overseers,’ who’ve dwelt mostly in a pretty narrow belt between 2,800 and 3,200 feet throughout ridges connected to Shaa Tlaax, moldy top (Mt J-word). On September first, forecasted last dry day for a week, I figured we’d better get up there ourselves, and try to film Jánwu from their own elevation.
My 7-minute slideshow has highlights from this climb, and a few ‘tamer’ observations from the bottomlands.
