In 2009, with support from the Southeast Alaska Land Trust, Bob, Mary, Marge and I distilled much of the information in our 2003 Hotspots report into this less technical 82-page book. Our publication celebrated establishment of the wetlands as an Important Bird Area. Jim King contributed a chapter on history of the Refuge.
