In February, 2018, Hank Lentfer, Bob Armstrong and I gave a talk for the Alaska Wildlife Alliance on what I’ve chosen to call “motion-cams.” They’re also variably referred to as trailcams, gamecams and crittercams. While Bob and I described off-the-shelf options with rather low-res video & still output, Hank gave examples from a more custom-built package using 4K video from a weather-proofed casing.
