Repeat photography as a naturalist’s tool

Kathy Hocker wrote this Discoveries feature midway through our 2004-to-06 Repeat Photography. On completion, we produced final reports, posters and a slideshow with more complete analysis of before-&-after photo-pairs.  But this article has a more personal and ‘Sherlockian’ flavor, and conveys much of the reward and excitement of finding old photopoints and discovering what’s changed.
