More white stuff
My last post—on trumpeter swans—was only 3 days ago, and I try not to nature-nerd your inbox with such frenetic periodicity. But we seem to be on a ‘white-things’ roll. And you might enjoy some ultra-close-up goating. Today we checked out Nugget Falls, partially in hopes of filming goats that have been reported around there.
Generally I turn off the audio when compiling videostories from telephotography (mostly a lot of heavy breathing into the camera mic as I stare through its viewfinder, trying not to jiggle the tripod). But this session was a good example of Oreovangelism —- spreading the word about Jánwu, and encouraging passers-by to have an ‘interplanetary’ look through the Nikon at ~60x magnification.
Generally I get skunked for white climbers at Nugget Falls, but this time made up for it. Thank you, Jánwu!
