The all-stars assess Taalḵú
1985 was a busy year for Dan Bishop. On my chronological list of Environaid publications I count 4 major projects and a few minor ones. I was involved at Chuck River and Back Douglas, but not Thomas Bay, and I remember being slightly envious. What a chance for a greenhorn naturalist that’d be, to serve as mapmaker for veteran biologists Jack Lentfer and Lou Barr!
Oh well, we still get to look over their shoulders, some 40 years later, as they and Dan applied a collective century of field experience to questions centering around Taalḵú, widemouth basket (Thomas Bay)
