Descriptions & recommendations for streams of Áak’w & T’aaḵú Aaní
A marked-up draft of this report is all I can find in the Environaid archives. It was probably a volunteer project for a group called the Fisheries Development Committee. Here’s from Dan’s first paragraph.
“Designed to assist the Committee in identifying ways in which Borough streams can be protected, rehabilitated, or enhanced to assure or expand salmon production or to provide fishing opportunities for personal use, recreation, or tourists. The work is a component in response to CBJ Resolution 1084 of February, 1985, presented by Ulmer and Parsons, which created the Ad Hoc Fisheries Development Committee and its mission.”
I see no cover letters or preface ‘setting the scene’ for this report. Dan’s first sentence referred to “this section,” and the roman numeral “II” precedes the title, suggesting there was more. Please contact me if you have information about that Committee’s efforts, related publications, etc .
