On January 10th, 2019, John Hudson and I gave a talk for the Southeast Alaska Land Trust’s annual winter fundraiser. Nancy Waterman had requested something on what the maps call Montana and McGinnis creeks—more aptly, Kaxdigoowu Héen, going back clearwater. We ‘tag-teamed’ the presentation, which Bill Leighty filmed. Afterward I collected Bill’s video and audio files, and prepared a version for Vimeo in 2 parts—38 minutes and 22 minutes, respectively. Here’s some background on the presentation, and a link to the Vimeos.

Focus of our talk: the Kaxdigoowu Héen/McGinnis watershed. Shaped like the foreleg of a deer.
