Vegetation types, tidal elevations, property boundaries, and their relation to glacial rebound and the conservation of accreted land on Mendenhall Wetland State Game Refuge. This was one Discovery’s first mapping efforts employing GIS and GPS technology. Terry Schwartz—then a naturalist at Discovery—helped with the field work. This is still one of the most detailed estuarine maps in Southeast Alaska.
